September’s
adult display theme at Leach Library will highlight net sports. Be sure to browse our central display table
in the adult room where you will find new books about net sports that are
available for checkout. Among these new
titles will be Volleyball: steps to success by Becky Schmidt, and Ping
Pong Diplomacy: the secret history behind the game that changed the world by
Nicholas Griffin. As an added incentive,
the library is offering two trivia games during the month: a net sports
crossword puzzle, and a net sports word scramble. At the end of the month, one crossword puzzle
winner and one word scramble winner with all the correct answers will be chosen
from a random drawing. Each winner will
receive a $10 gift card for the 99
Restaurant. Participants can begin
the trivia games as early as 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 3, and turn them
in to the Reference Desk no later than 8:00 p.m. on Monday, September 30 for
eligibility.
