“Out of This World”
On Monday, August 5, take a trip Out of This World at the Leach Library
from 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Listen to stories about adventures in space, then
sing a song about the moon. Together, participants will learn about
constellations and connect stars to create a few constellations. Everyone will
leave with an inflatable beach ball. *Registration is required and begins
the Thursday before the program.
“Monkey Business”
On Tuesday, August 6 from 11:00 a.m. –
12:00 p.m. join us at the Leach Library for some Monkey Business! Hear stories and sing a couple of songs about
monkeys being silly then practice some of that silliness with a game of Simon
Says. Participants will try out some favorite monkey moves, as well as those of
other favorite animals. All who attend will be able to choose a neon stuffed
monkey. *Registration is required and begins the Thursday before the program.
“A Ballooniverse of Stories”
On Wednesday, August 7 from 11:00 a.m.
– 12:00 p.m. the amazing Jungle Jim will be performing at the Leach Library.
Jungle Jim’s interactive A Ballooniverse of Stories space-themed balloon magic show will keep children
and adults laughing through the entire program. Don’t miss out on the fun! *Registration
is required and begins the Thursday before the program.
“Animal Adventures”
On Thursday, August 8 from 11:00 a.m. –
12:00 p.m. Animal Adventures will be at the Leach Library with a few animal
friends to share some interesting facts about some unusual animals. Some animals may include a mountain coati and a
South American paca (live animals). *Registration is required and begins the
Thursday before the program.
