“Wonders of the World”
Travel around the world at the library on Monday July 10,
from 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. During this program, participants will hear
stories from the many places where wonders of the world reside. There will even
be a chance for participants to guess if a wonder is Ancient, Modern or Natural.
To register, stop by the Children’s Room, or call 432-1127. Registration is
required and begins the Thursday prior to the program.
“Story Time – Roundup”
Gallop into the library on Tuesday, July 11 from 10:00 –
10:30 a.m. to hear stories of horses big and small. Patrons of all ages are
invited to an energetic half-hour program of exciting stories, frolicking
finger plays and sensational songs. Each week, one lucky patron will win a
special raffle prize. No registration required for this drop in program.
“Amazing Animal Adaptations”
Join Wildlife Encounters at the library on Wednesday, July
12 from 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. for their Amazing
Animal Adaptations program. Participants will have a chance to visit with
amazing animals and learn how their adaptations make them built for their
environment. During this exciting program, participants will learn about how
different animals changed over hundreds of years to help them thrive in their
home environments. Live animals visitors may include a poison dart frog,
Brazilian rainbow boa, Caiman lizard and Moluccan cockatoo (live animals). To
register, stop by the Children’s Room, or call 432-1127. This program is being
sponsored by The Friends of the Londonderry Leach Library. Registration is
required and begins the Thursday prior to the program.
“Craft Time – Paint your own wind chimes”
Come to the library
on Thursday, July 13 from 10:00 – 10:45 a.m. or 1:00 – 1:45 p.m. to paint fun
birdhouse themed wind chimes. During this program, patrons will be able paint
their wind chimes using a variety of colors of paint. Each session is open to
70 participants. To register, stop by the Children’s Room, or call 432-1127. Registration is required and begins the
Thursday prior to the program.
