“Shark Tales”
Jump into stories
about some of the most impressive fish in the sea at the library on Monday,
July 3, from 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. During this adventurous program we will
meet sharks of many sizes and hear about some of their very fascinating
characteristics. Participants will have a chance to play a “Guess Who” game
with sharks and help a shark find his way home. To register, stop by the
Children’s Room, or call 432-1127. Registration is required and begins the
Thursday prior to the program.
“Camp Out”
Come to the library on Wednesday, July 5, from 11:00 a.m. –
12:00 p.m. to hear stories of the great outdoors. Summertime is a great time to
get out and go camping. Participants will gather around our campfire to hear
stories of camping trips, forest friends and wild adventures. During this
fun-filled program we may try to make a rainstorm and sing some rousing camp
songs. Each participant will leave with a bright fabric visor; perfect for
keeping the sun out of their eyes on their next trip. To register, stop by the
Children’s Room, or call 432-1127. Registration is required and begins the
Thursday prior to the program.
“Craft Time – Design your own canvas apron”
Come to the library on Thursday, July 6 from 10:00 –
10:45 a.m. or 1:00 – 1:45 p.m. to decorate your own fun apron. During this
program, patrons will be able to decorate their aprons using fabric
markers. Each session is open to 70
participants. To register, stop by the Children’s Room, or call 432-1127. Registration
is required and begins the Thursday prior to the program.
