Children’s Summer Reading Programs

“Summer Fun Book Bingo”

Visit the library on Monday, June 26 from 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. to play a fun picture version of the popular game. Every participant will win and be able to choose books from our special selection table. To register, stop by the Children’s Room, or call 432-1127. Registration is required and begins the Thursday prior to the program.

“Story Time – Animal Homes”

Come to the library on Tuesday, June 27 from 10:00 – 10:30 a.m. to hear stories of the many different places animals call home. Patrons of all ages are invited to an energetic half-hour program of exciting stories, frolicking finger plays and sensational songs. Each week, one lucky patron will win a special raffle prize. No registration is required for this drop-in program.

“Storybook Tales Theater”

Join the Bright Star Theater company at the library on Wednesday, June 28 from 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. for their performance Storybook Tales. Get ready to laugh out loud as engaging performers bring the stories of Pinocchio and Robin Hood to life in unforgettable fashion. Filled with audience participation and lots of humor, this production will leave audience members shouting for more.  Registration is required. “Craft Time – Create your own foam mosaic mirror”

Come to the library on Thursday, June 29 from 10:00 – 10:45 a.m. or 1:00 – 1:45 p.m. to create your own foam mosaic mirror. During this program, patrons will be able to design their mirror using self-adhesive foam shapes. Each session is open to 70 participants. To register, stop by the Children’s Room, or call 432-1127. Registration is required and begins the Thursday prior to the program.
