“Barn Raising with Huckle Cat”
Kick-off the summer with an old fashioned barn raising
celebration at the library on Tuesday, June 20, Wednesday, June 21, and
Thursday, June 22 from 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. During these fun-filled programs, we will
hear stories of life on the farm and the many animals and machines to be found
there. Participants may learn a fun dance and we will round out our celebration
with an energetic rendition of Old MacDonald. There will be plenty of time for
a hug and picture with Huckle and our tractor. Each participant will receive a
fun bandana and will also be entered into a raffle for a chance to win an
exciting prize bag. Advance registration is required. To register, stop by the
Children’s Room, or call 432-1127 beginning at 9:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 15.
