Children's Summer Reading Programs

“Food Fun Book Bingo” 
Visit the library on Monday, July 11 from 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. to play a fun picture version of the popular game. Every participant will win and be able to choose books from our special selection table. Registration is required and begins the Thursday prior to the program
“Story Time – Secret Agents” 
Come to the library on Tuesday, July 12, from 10:00 – 10:30 a.m. to hear stories of adventurous secret agents. Patrons of all ages are invited to this energetic half-hour program of exciting stories, frolicking finger plays and sensational songs. Each week, one lucky patron will win a special raffle prize. No registration is required for this drop-in program.
“Animal Athletes” 
 Join Squam Lake Natural Science Center at the library on Wednesday, July 13 from 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. as they explore the world of animal athleticism.  During this exciting program participants will meet a variety of different animals and learn all about their athletic qualities. Potential animals are snake, hawk, beaver, and American kestrel (live animals). Registration is required and begins the Thursday prior to the program.
“Craft Time – Decorate your own pillow”
Come to the library on Thursday, July 14 from 10:00 – 10:45 a.m. or 1:00 – 1:45 p.m. to decorate a cozy pillow. During this program, patrons will be able to decorate their pillows using fabric markers. Each session is open to 70 participants. Registration is required and begins the Thursday prior to the program.
