Children's Summer Reading Programs

“Fins, Feathers and Fur” 
Come to the library on Monday, July 18 from 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. to hear stories of the many different types of pets people keep. From cats and dogs to gold fish and parrots, participants will hear stories of silly, strange and very unique pets. The audience will be treated to a reading of “Running with Rollie” by local author, and Londonderry High School graduate, Jeffrey Bradley. Registration is required
“Story Time – Dragon Tales”
Come to the library on Tuesday, July 19, from 10:00 – 10:30 a.m. to hear stories of friendly dragons from around the world. Patrons of all ages are invited to this energetic half-hour program of exciting stories, frolicking finger plays and sensational songs. Each week, one lucky patron will win a special raffle prize. No registration is required for this drop-in program
“Malik the Magic Guy” 
On Wednesday, July 20, join Malik the Magic Guy from 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. for a program filled with comedy and magic fun. During this program Malik with enthrall audiences with his magic tricks. Watch in amazement as a football appears from a book! Audience members young and old will be captivated by this hilarious and entertaining program. Registration is required and begins the Thursday prior to the program.
“Craft Time – Paint your own wooden fan”
Come to the library on Thursday, July 21 from 10:00 – 10:45 a.m. or 1:00 – 1:45 p.m. to paint your own wooden fan. During this program, patrons will be able to decorate their fans using paints and stencils. Each session is open to 70 participants. Registration is required and begins the Thursday prior to the program.
