Children's Summer Reading Programs

“Story Time – Journey to the bottom of the Sea”
Come to the library on Tuesday, July 5, from 10:00 – 10:30 a.m. to hear stories of the many amazing creatures that live at the bottom of the sea. Patrons of all ages are invited to this energetic half-hour program of exciting stories, frolicking finger plays and sensational songs. Each week, one lucky patron will win a special raffle prize. No registration is required for this drop-in program
“Monkey Business”
 Come to the library on Wednesday, July 6 from 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. to monkey around. During this program participants will hear stories of monkeys, gorillas and apes, learn the difference between them and find out what happens when 5 little monkeys jump on the bed! Each participant will leave with an adjustable, neon monkey hat! Registration is required and begins the Thursday prior to the program.
 “Craft Time – Design your own megaphone”
 Come to the library on Thursday, July 7 from 10:00 – 10:45 a.m. or 1:00 – 1:45 p.m. to create a fantastic megaphone. During this program, patrons will be able to decorate their megaphone using a variety of materials. Each session is open to 70 participants. Registration is required and begins the Thursday prior to the program.
