Other towns have adopted a Curbside Pick-up program, where the library patron can order a book online, and a member of the staff will meet them in front of the library and hand them the book. Is Leach Library considering doing this?
For the safety of our staff and patrons, we will not be implementing a curbside pickup program at this time. The Leach Library staff follows local, state, and federal guidelines and have found that many New Hampshire libraries are ending their curbside pickup programs due to changes in government guidelines.
The book drop remains open for returns. Downloadable e-books and audiobooks are also available through the NH Downloadable Books Consortium at https://nh.overdrive.com. If you have any further questions, please email us at reference@londonderrynh.org.
The app “Libby” allows for you to enter your library card number (for Londonderry, and any other library network you might be a member of) and check out ebooks and audiobooks digitally.
The library staff are continuing to work on collection development in preparation for reopening. If you have any specific requests or suggestions for new materials, feel free to send them to us at reference@londonderrynh.org.

Has the library continued to buy new books during the crisis, in preparation for eventual re-opening?
