“Animals and the Seasons”
Join Wildlife
Encounters at the Leach Library on Tuesday, February 19 from 4:00 – 5:00 p.m.
to find out how animals adapt to the challenges of changing seasons. From
winter to spring, summer to fall, each season has its own challenges. During this fascinating program, participants
will meet animal ambassadors and learn fascinating information about where the
animals live and how the changing season affects what animals do to survive.
Animal visitors may include an Arctic fox, brown and white skunk, African bull
frog, and alligator snapping turtle (live animals). This exciting
program is open to 90 participants of all ages, and advance registration is
required. To register,
stop by the Children’s Room or call 432-1127 beginning at 9:00 a.m. on Monday,
February 11.
