A new double sided map of the Musquash Conservation Area and the Town Center Trails is now available at Leach Library. The new Musquash map, which was produced in cooperation between Londonderry Trailways and the Londonderry Community Development Department, shows four trails which have been constructed since the creation of the previous map in 2007.
The four new trails (named White, Deer, Porcupine Ridge, and Ravine) create access to portions of the Musquash that previously would have only been available through bushwhacking. The White and Ravine Trails open up the northern part, with a trailhead at Faucher Road and the Deer and Porcupine Ridge Trails open up the southeastern portion of the conservation area.
The Town Center Trails are a series of multi-use trails in and around the High School, the town government complex, and Mack’s Apples. Popular uses of these trails include cross-country skiing and walking.
