Is Your Computer Secure?

With all of the viruses, spam, spyware, malware, and potential for identity theft out there, the Internet can be a scary place. To have a safe and pleasant Internet experience you need the proper security to protect you. If you own a PC check out the “Security Center”, which can be accessed through your control panel, to see your security settings. If they are low you might consider raising them. You might also want to check out a recent issue of PC Magazine, which had a cover story entitled “72 Essential Computer Security Tips”. In addition to that you might want to take a look at some of the books in the library such as “The Symantec Guide to Home Internet Security”.
