Children's Summer Reading Programs

“Summer Fun Book Bingo”
Visit the Leach Library on Monday, July 30 from
11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. to play a fun picture version of the popular game. Every participant will win and be able to choose books from our special selection table. Registration is required and begins the Thursday prior to the program.
“Story Time – Forest frolic”
Stroll on into the Leach Library on Tuesday, July 31 from
10:00 – 10:30 a.m. to explore the many wonders of the forest. Patrons of all ages are invited to an energetic half-hour program of exciting stories, frolicking finger plays, and sensational songs. Each week, one lucky patron will win a special raffle prize. No registration is required for this drop-in program.
“Family Fun Magicpalooza”
Come to the Leach Library on Wednesday, August 1 from             11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. for an interactive, fun-filled magic show. Join magician Lon Cerel as he performs incredible feats of magic. Filled with lots of audience participation and the appearance of a live bunny, participants will leave with a smile. Those participants who wish to will have a chance to go home with a balloon sculpture (live animal). Registration is required and begins the Thursday prior to the program.
“Craft Time – Design our own songbird mobile”
Come to the Leach Library on Thursday, August 2 from
10:00 – 10:45 a.m., or 1:00 – 1:45 p.m., to create your own mobile. During this program, patrons will be able to create their own mobile using a variety of materials, including feathers and markers. Each session is open to 70 participants. Registration is required and begins the Thursday prior to the program.
