Children's Summer Reading Programs


“Parade Day”
March on in to the Leach Library on Monday, July 2 from
11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. for a celebratory program full of scarf waving fun. During this energetic program, we will hear stories of parades big and small, discovery why a pig parade is a terrible idea, and march in time to some fabulous parade tunes.
Registration is required and begins the Thursday prior to the program.

Story Time – Friends forever
Come to the Leach Library on Tuesday, July 3 from
10:00 – 10:30 a.m. to hear stories of friends of all types. Patrons of all ages are invited to an energetic half-hour program of exciting stories, frolicking finger plays, and sensational songs. Each week, one lucky patron will win a special raffle prize. No registration is required for this drop-in program.

“Craft Time – Create your own clucking chicken”
Come to the Leach Library on Thursday, July 5 from
10:00 – 10:45 a.m., or 1:00 – 1:45 p.m., to make a clucking chicken. During this program, patrons will be able to decorate their chickens using markers and feathers, and a string to make it cluck. Each session is open to 70 participants. Registration is required and begins the Thursday prior to the program.
