“Children’s Book Week Raffle”
Starting Monday, May 2 through closing on Saturday, May 7,
during Children’s Book Week, for each book checked out of the Children’s Room
during this week, you will earn a raffle ticket for a chance to win a cool book
bag. Stop by the display case in the Children’s Room to see what the book bag
looks like.
“The Worlds of Eric Carle”
Come to the library on Monday, May 9 from 4:00 – 5:00 p.m.
and explore the worlds of beloved children’s author Eric Carle. During this
exciting program we will hear the story of The Very Hungry Caterpillar, count
to 10 with ducks and see if we can move like animals can! Participants will
have a chance to try their hand at a Brown Bear matching game. All participants
will be entered into a raffle for a chance to win one of two fabulous Eric
Carle prize bags. This fun-filled program is open to 90 participants of all
ages. Advance registration is required and begins at 9:00 a.m. on Monday, May
2. To register, call 432-1127 or come by the Children’s Room.
