“Wacky Weather”
Come to the library on Monday, June 29 from 11:00 a.m. –
12:00 p.m. and explore the wacky world of weather. From food that falls from
the sky, to a shy cloud looking for a friend, you’ll be blown away by these
exciting stories about all things weather related. Registration is required
and begins the Thursday prior to the program.
“Story Time – Super Strong”
Come to the library on Tuesday, June 30 from 10:00 – 10:30
a.m. to hear stories of the strongest people, animals and machines around. Patrons
of all ages are invited to an energetic half-hour program of exciting stories,
frolicking finger plays and sensational songs. Each week, one lucky patron will
win a special raffle prize. No registration is required for this drop-in
program.
“Turtle Power”
Dive into adventure at the library on Wednesday, July 1 from
11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. and hear stories of turtles and tortoises big and
small. During this program, we will hear the tale of Yertle the Turtle,
discover the secrets of Turtle Island and meet Galapagos George. We will also
learn some super facts about turtles and tortoises around the world. Each
participant will leave with a stuffed turtle of his/her own. Registration
is required and begins the Thursday prior to the program.
“Craft Time – Color Your Own Superhero Poster”
Come
to the library on Thursday, July 2 from 10:00 – 10:45 a.m. or 1:00 – 1:45 p.m.
to create your fuzzy superhero poster. During this program, patrons will be
able to decorate their own poster using markers. Each session is open to
70 participants. Registration is required and begins the Thursday prior to
the program.
