Upcoming Children's Room Programs

“Patriotic Book Bingo”
Visit the library on Monday, July 6 from 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. to play a fun picture version of the popular game. Every participant will win and be able to choose books from our special selection table. Registration is required and begins the Thursday prior to the program
“Story Time – Tall Tales”
Come to the library on Tuesday, July 7 from 10:00 – 10:30 a.m. to hear stories about some really super-sized characters like Paul Bunyan and Babe the Blue Ox. Patrons of all ages are invited to this energetic half-hour program of exciting stories, frolicking finger plays and sensational songs. Each week, one lucky patron will win a special raffle prize. No registration is required for this drop-in program.
 “Wildlife in Motion”
Join Squam Lake Natural Science Center at the library on Wednesday, July 8 from 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. to learn all about how animals move. Animals’ movements are specialized for where you find them, fish swim and birds fly. Join us to learn about New Hampshire wildlife, where they live and how they move. Live animals that may be present include a Mink, Peregrine Falcon, Snake and Flying Squirrel (live animals). Registration is required and begins the Thursday prior to the program. This program is being sponsored by The Friends of the Londonderry Leach Library.

                      “Craft Time – Design your own Superhero Mask”
Come by the library on Thursday, July 9 from 10:00 – 10:45 a.m. or 1:00 – 1:45 p.m. to create your own superhero mask. During this program, patrons will be able to decorate their mask using a variety of materials. Each session is open to 70 participants. Registration is required and begins the Thursday prior to the program.
