Upcoming Children's Room Programs

“Robotics”

Come to the library on Monday, July 14 from 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. to enter the world of robots. From robots made to clean the house to robots in search of the perfect friend, these stories will warm your heart and wind your gears. Participants will have a chance to learn a fun song about a robot and even try their hand at robot dancing. Registration is required and begins the Thursday prior to the program.

“Whale Tales”

Come to the library on Tuesday, July 15 from 10:00 – 10:30 a.m. to journey under the sea with whales. Patrons of all ages are invited to an energetic half-hour program of exciting stories, frolicking finger plays and sensational songs. Each week, one lucky patron will win a special raffle prize. No registration is required for this drop-in program.

“On Safari with Annie Concert”

On Wednesday, July 16, we will go On Safari with Annie and the Natural Wonder Band from 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Annie and her partner Safari Bob host a fun-filled, interactive concert full of original songs about the rainforest. Get ready to dance along to the “Hippa Hippopotamus”, become a “Beautiful Frog”, act like a “Real Cool Cat” (lions, tigers and cheetahs, oh my!), learn the difference between an ape and a monkey and do the “Funky Elephant”. Registration is required and begins the Thursday prior to the program.

“Craft Time - Create your own stained glass volcano”

Come to the library on Thursday, July 17 from 10:00 – 10:45 or 1:00 – 1:45 p.m. to create your own stained glass volcano. Using tissue paper and other supplies, patrons will create a color window hanging. Each session is open to 70 participants. Registration is required and begins the Thursday prior to the program.
