Play Scavenger Hunt Bingo during April Vacation at the Leach Library Children’s Room

The Children’s Room will be offering a fun new twist on two classic games during April vacation. From Monday, April 22 through Saturday, April 27, participants can pick up a bingo card in the Children’s Room, then travel the library and collect items that will make bingo: five in a row vertically, horizontally or diagonally. Return the items to the Children’s Room for a special treat and a raffle ticket for a chance to win a prize bag.

Have a Dancing Adventure at the Leach Library Children’s Room

Come to the library on Monday, April 29 from 4:00 – 5:00 p.m. and celebrate the joy of dancing. Hear the stories of piggies who like to polka, dinosaurs who like to dance and learn how squirrels learned to dance. We will conclude the program by trying our hand at some popular dances such as the Hokey Pokey, YMCA and Macarena. All participants will receive a “Good Job” medal for their dancing. This exciting program is open to 90 participants. Advance registration is required and begins on Monday, April 22 at 9:00 a.m. To register, call 432-1127 or come by the Children’s Room.
