Final Festivities: This year we will be winding down our summer with a week of special programs. The schedule of events include:

Monday, August 13, travel back to Medieval Times from 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Participants will hear stories of knights and princesses, dragons and castles. All those who participate will receive a crown or shield to decorate at home.

Tuesday, August 14, we will take a Jungle Safari from 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. During our journey we will hear stories of wild animals and sing a rousing rendition of “If you’re happy and you know it” jungle style.

Wednesday, August 15, Farmer Minor and his famous book loving pig Daisy will be at the library from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Come hear one of Daisy’s favorite pig stories and learn all about Daisy and how she became “the most famous pig in the world.” (live animal)

Thursday, August 16, the library will be hosting Michael Zerphy’s “Zany Acts” from 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. During this family concert Michael will lead an adventure of discovery through a theatrical playground that will tickle the imagination and leave you laughing.
