Adult Summer Reading Program

The Adult Summer Reading Program is well underway and you can participate by registering at the reference desk. For each book you read you will earn a raffle ticket for weekly chances to win a variety of prizes featuring the Novel Destination logo in addition to gift certificates generously donated by area businesses. In June we traveled by books to North and South America. We’re in Africa, Antarctica, and Australia this month and our destination for August is Europe and Asia. Our display table reflects these locations with travel guides, other nonfiction titles, and novels set in these places. There is also a different trivia quiz on the display table each month to test your knowledge and research skills for another chance to win. There are just a few more weeks to take the Literary Settings quiz before we put out the August’s quiz which features a crossword puzzle based on geographic place names.
