Overdrive, the vendor for the New Hampshire Downloadable Audio Books service, has recently launched a new version of its Media Console. Overdrive Media Console (OMC) is the software which manages your audio book downloads. New improvements to the software include the automatic creation of tracks on burned CDs, which will allow you to more easily navigate your book and improve the listening experience. Version 3.0 will also be able to play MP3 files, which will allow IPOD users to use the service. Users of older versions of OMC will need to upgrade to OMC v3.0 to use MP3 Audio books.
