Leach Library Hosts “Beginning Harmonica Workshop”

On Thursday, November 14 at 7:00 p.m., Mr. Mike Rogers and
Mrs. Beverly Rogers will present “Beginning Harmonica Workshop.”
Mike and Beverly Rogers have been performing together for over twenty-five years.  As one half of the group ‘Salt River,’ they have been recognized as “folk singers in the purest sense” by Face Magazine.  As music educators, they offer harmonica workshops and teach songs and techniques, as well as provide harmonicas for the students to play.

Join Mr. and Mrs. Rogers as they immerse participants in the world of music.  They will teach some basic harmonica techniques and easy blues songs.  Participants will be able to keep their harmonica after the program, free of charge.

This program is free and open to the public with seating limited to the first 90 individuals.  It will be held in the library’s lower-level meeting room.  Light refreshments will be served.
