Leach Library to Host “Under the Sea: Underwater Photography”

On Thursday, June 15 at 7:00 p.m., the Leach Library will host Ms. Sherry Brandsema and Mr. Bob Hogan for an evening presentation of “Under the Sea: Underwater Photography”. 

Sherry Brandsema and Bob Hogan met in an underwater photography class in Bonaire, and together they have over 45 years of scuba diving experience.  They have offered educational presentations on coral reef life for many classes and organizations including the Seacoast Camera Club.

In this slideshow presentation, Ms. Brandsema and Mr. Hogan will share diving gear essentials, animal facts, and their own vibrant photographs.  They will also discuss the challenges of underwater photography and the creatures of the Caribbean including starfish, coral, angelfish, eels, sharks, crustaceans, and more.

This program is sponsored by the Friends of the Londonderry Leach Library.  This program is free and open to the public with seating limited to the first 90 individuals.  It will be held in the library’s lower-level meeting room.  Light refreshments will be served.
