On
Thursday, March 16 at 7:00 p.m., the Leach Library will host “Moose Man Moments
in the Wild” by Rick “The Moose Man” Libbey.
Mr.
Libbey is a New England photographer of moose wildlife and habits. He has been photographing moose and other
wildlife since 1981, improving his strategy and equipment over time. As of 2014, he has logged over 3,100 moose
encounters.
Join
us for a slideshow presentation featuring Mr. Libbey’s own photographs of
native animals including moose, loons, bobcats, fox, owls, and more. “The Moose Man” will discuss his oftentimes
humorous experiences in the wild and share how he captures his images.
This
program is sponsored by the Friends of the Londonderry Leach Library. The event is free and open to the public with
seating limited to the first 90 individuals. It will be held in the library’s lower-level
meeting room. Light refreshments will be
served.
