On
Thursday, February 16 at 7:00 p.m., the Leach Library will host Laura
Campbell’s presentation, “Iconic Italian Gardens”.
Ms.
Laura Campbell is a New Hampshire landscape design artist who has worked locally
with numerous schools to develop educational gardens. She holds a professional degree in
architecture from Pratt Institute and a Certificate in Landscape Design from
the Landscape Institute at The Boston Architectural College.
Ms.
Campbell will explore the history of several well-known Italian gardens
including Ninfa, Villa Lante, and Villa D’este.
She will present her own photographs of the gardens and offer her
observations as well as professional insights.
This
program is free and open to the public with seating limited to the first 90
individuals. It will be held in the
library’s lower-level meeting room. Light refreshments will be served.
