“A Walk Back in Time: The Secrets of Cellar Holes” at Leach Library

On Thursday, March 24 at 7:00 p.m., the Leach Library will host the program “A Walk Back in Time: The Secrets of Cellar Holes” by author and historian Ms. Adair Mulligan.
Ms. Mulligan has a Master’s degree from Smith College.  She is an independent scholar and author with a strong curiosity for the natural and cultural history of Northern New England.  She served as the Conservation Director of the Connecticut River Joint Commissions for twenty years.
Join us as Ms. Mulligan explores the rich story to be discovered in what remains of long-forgotten structures in New Hampshire.  Witness how one town has helped stimulate interest in its future through the past by creating an inventory of its cellar holes and piecing together the clues in the landscape.
This program is sponsored by the Friends of the Londonderry Leach Library. The event is free and open to the public with seating limited to the first 90 individuals.  It will be held in the library’s lower-level Meeting Room.  Light refreshments will be served.
