Leach Library to Host “Life and Work at the Mount Washington Observatory”

On Thursday, January 21 at 7:00 p.m. the Leach Library will host Mr. Will Broussard as he presents “Life and Work at the Mount Washington Observatory”.
Will Broussard is the Outreach Coordinator for the Mount Washington Observatory. He has a graduate degree in conservation biology and extensive training in environmental education.
In this hour long mixed media presentation, Mr. Broussard will discuss the unique weather at the summit of the mountain as well as the weather observers who man the observatory year-round. He will also explore how the mountain’s weather works and what it can tell us about our own unique New England weather patterns.
This program is free and open to the public with seating limited to the first 90 individuals. It will be held in the library’s lower-level meeting room. Light refreshments will be served.
