“Winter Fun Book Bingo”
Come to the library on Monday,
December 8 from 4:00 - 5:00 p.m. to play a fun picture version of this popular
game. All participants will have a chance to win books from our special
selection tables. This exciting program is open to 90 participants of all ages.
To register, call 432-1127 or stop by the Children’s Room beginning at 9:00
a.m. on Monday, December 1.
“Winter Session 1 Programs”
The Children’s Room will be offering the following programs as part of
Winter Session 1: Craft Time, Shake, Move & Read, and Toddler Time. Winter
Session 1 will run December 10 through December 18 and January 7 through
January 15. These dates include a break for the winter holidays. Advance
registration is required and begins on Monday, December 1. To register, call
432-1127 or stop by the Children’s Room.
“Exciting New Craft Time” Calling
all children! The library is pleased to announce an engaging and artistic new
program. Children of all ages are invited to the library on Wednesday from 9:30
– 10:15 a.m. to explore their creative side. Using a variety of materials, each
week participants will discover a different fun craft to create. Advance
registration is required. Meeting dates are: 12/10, 12/17 and 1/7, 1/14.
“Shake, Move & Read” This engaging program is open to participants of all ages.
Each week, participants will energetically explore a different theme using
songs, fantastic finger plays, a story and simple craft. From the opening
welcome song, to the final finger play, participants will be moving and
grooving the afternoon away. This exhilarating and fun-filled program is open
to participants of all ages and will be held on Wednesday from 4:00 – 4:45 p.m.
Advance registration is required. Meeting dates are: 12/10, 12/17 and
1/7, 1/14.
“Toddler Time” This program is open to children ages 2 & 3. Children
attend with their parents and enjoy a fun half-hour of thematic stories, games,
songs and a simple craft. Meets on Thursdays, 9:30 - 10:00 a.m. Advance registration
is required. Meeting dates are: 12/11, 12/18 and 1/8, 1/15.
