“Great Migration”
Come
to the library on Monday, September 15 from 4:00 – 5:00 p.m. to hear exciting
stories about the many different animals that migrate during the year. On land,
in the air, and in the water, learn interesting facts about how these amazing
animals find their way from start to finish and the many adventures to be had
along the way. Each participant will leave with a compass clip, to help them
navigate their own journeys. Advance
registration is required and begins at 9:00 a.m. on Monday, September 8. To

“Fall Session 1 Programs”
The
Children’s Room will be offering the following programs as part of Fall Session
1: Story Time, Shake Move & Read and Toddler Time. Fall Session 1 will run
September 17 through October 9. Advance registration is required and begins at
9:00 a.m. on Monday, September 8. To register call 432-1127 or stop by the Children’s
Room.
“Story Time” This program is open to children ages 4 to 6. Children
attend without their parents and
enjoy 45 minutes of thematic stories, games, songs and a craft. Meets on Wednesdays, 9:30 - 10:15 a.m.
Advance registration is required. Meeting dates are: 9/17, 9/24, 10/1 and 10/8.
“Shake, Move & Read” This engaging program is open to participants of all ages.
Each week, participants will energetically explore a different theme using
songs, fantastic finger plays, a story and simple craft. From the opening
welcome song, to the final finger play, participants will be moving and
grooving the afternoon away. This exhilarating and fun-filled program is open to
participants of all ages and will be held on Wednesday from 4:00 – 4:45 p.m.
Advance registration is required. Meeting dates are: 9/17, 9/24, 10/1 and 10/8.
“Toddler Time” This program is open to children ages 2 & 3. Children
attend with their parents and enjoy a fun half-hour of thematic stories, games,
songs and a simple craft. Meets on Thursdays, 9:30 - 10:00 a.m. Advance registration
is required. Meeting dates are: 9/18, 9/25, 10/2 and 10/9.
