Upcoming Children's Room Programs

“Paleontology”

Travel back in time to the world of dinosaurs on Monday, July 28 from 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. During our travels patrons will learn about Edwina, the dinosaur who didn’t know she was extinct, find out how Dinosaurs say goodnight and play a dinosaur matching game. Registration is required and begins the Thursday prior to the program.

“Story Time - Dog Days”

Come to the library on Tuesday, July 29 from 10:00 – 10:30 a.m. pass the morning with some cute canine friends. Patrons of all ages are invited to an energetic half-hour program of exciting stories, frolicking finger plays and sensational songs. Each week, one lucky patron will win a special raffle prize. No registration is required for this drop-in program.

“Motion Man”

Enter the amazing world of the Motion Man Jody Scalise on Wednesday, July 30 from 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. This show has a little bit of everything. From physical comedy, to circus skits, miming, audience participation and all around fun, the Motion Man will keep audiences of all ages giggling the afternoon away. Registration is required and begins the Thursday prior to the program.

Craft Time - Create your own rocket wind sock”

Come to the library on Thursday, July 31 from 10:00 – 10:45 or 1:00 – 1:45 p.m. to create your own rocket wind sock. During this craft, participants will be able to decorate a rocket ship and attach it to a wind sock and add streamers! Each session is open to 70 participants. Registration is required and begins the Thursday prior to the program.
