Leach Library Children’s Room Summer Reading Program

The summer is here and it’s time to get geared up for this year’s Summer Reading Program! The theme for the program is “Fizz, Boom, Read.” The library is pleased to be able to offer some great programs and activities this summer, including craft days, trivia contests and guessing games, just to name a few. There will also be special programs and performers throughout the summer. Have an explosive time during this year’s summer reading program! All reading program participants will work on one team to try to read enough books to climb to the top of Mt. Shaw, the highest peak in an ancient volcanic site located in the Ossipee Mountains, with a total goal of 35,700 inches! Each book read will equal one inch of mountain climbed. Follow Dewey as he hikes up the mountain.
