Discover the “Magic of Books” at the Leach Library Children’s Room.

Start off February vacation with a bang at the Library. Magician Tommy James will bring his exciting program “The Magic of Books” to the library on Monday, February 25 from 12:00 – 1:00 p.m. During this thrilling program, participants will witness how reading inspires imagination as some very popular story books come to life: a stuffed bunny becomes a real live bunny, as in the story of The Velveteen Rabbit; The Secret Garden comes to life as bouquet after bouquet of gorgeous flowers appears, and Charlotte, the literate spider from Charlotte’s Web spins a magical message in a web for the participants to go out and share (live animals).
