Children's Room Program

The Leach Library Children’s Room hosts CrittersNCreatures “Simply Serpents” program Come to the library on Monday, May 7 from 4:00 – 5:00 p.m. for our sensational snake program. Mona Headen from Critters ‘N Creatures will discuss many exciting facts about snakes such as how milk snakes mimic coral snakes to help stay safe and what makes a snake albino. Participants will also meet a lizard that looks like a snake. Those who wish may take the opportunity to touch one of the fascinating snakes at the end of the program. Serpentine visitors will include a white rat snake, Hog Island boa constrictor, Western Hognose snake and an albino ball python just to name a few. This program is open to 90 participants and advance registration is required and begins on Monday, April 30. Call 603-432-1127 or come by the Children’s Room to check for space availability.
