Children's Room Program

Leach Library Children’s Room welcomes Massabesic Audubon Center’s “Fall Frights of Folklore.”

Do bats really get stuck in your hair? Can owls turn their heads all the way around? If you touch a toad, will you really get warts? To find out the answers to these questions, come to the library on Tuesday, November 29 and Wednesday, November 30, from 4:00 – 5:00 p.m. when the Massabesic Audubon Center will be presenting their “Fall Frights of Folklore” program. Using some live animals and lots of props, you will discover how people throughout history have used these myths to explain the world around them. Each session is open to 20 children and advance registration is required. To register, call 432-1127 or stop by the Children’s Room beginning at 9:00 a.m. on Monday, November 21. This program is being sponsored by the Friends of the Londonderry Leach Library.
