Interlibrary Loan: Getting the books you need and want

The New Hampshire State Library in Concord recently announced for the second year in a row their Interlibrary loan (ILL) van service has delivered over 500,000 items (read the press release at http://tinyurl.com/y9qlwtc). Wondering what is ILL? It is a service by which Leach Library is able to obtain books not in our collection from other libraries.

This important service helps to support the mission of every public library in the State. By sharing resources in this manner and participating in this service, libraries are able to expand their own collections and save money. Is there a book Leach does not have but you would like to read? If it is more than six months old we can request it for you via ILL. To submit a request contact us at the reference desk via email, reference@londonderrynh.org, phone, 603-432-1132, or in-person.
