Leach Library Begins Drive-Thru Service for Pick-Up of Items
The Leach Library is pleased to announce the opening of drive-thru service starting on Monday, June 1, 2020. The hours of the service will be Monday-Friday from 10:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. and on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. Just call the library at 432-1132 during the above listed hours and tell the staff member that you would like to pick up an item. The staff will ask you information pertaining to the item(s) and format (book, DVDs, Books-on-CD, etc.) you wish to "check out". In addition, staff will be asking you for a time that is convenient to pick up the item. When you arrive at the library during your scheduled time, an employee will come to your car wearing personal protective equipment and they will look at your library card or driver's license through the driver's side window. Thereafter, you can "pop" open your trunk, and the employee will put your items (which will be bagged) into the trunk of your car. However, staff will not be collecting any returned items from patrons or their vehicles. If you are returning items, please park your vehicle in the parking lot and then put the items in the book drop. By doing so, social distancing can be maintained and the pick-up line will not be impacted.

May we return DVDs in the book drop?
And, are there new due dates for books checked out in March?
Yes, DVDs can be returned in the book drop. If you can put an elastic band around them before dropping them in, we'd appreciate it.
You can renew materials online any time, or we can process renewals over the phone starting June 1st. If you have materials that cannot be renewed, please return them by Monday, June 15th if possible.
